Tempesta
«Tempesta» is a new evening programme by Antonio Malinconico e Amici who with Thomas Sonderegger (guitar) and Martin Lorber (acoustic bass) dedicates himself completely to the subject «storm». For Malinconico’s acoustic trio «storm» is more than an empty sounding word. It’s the main subject of the storm that is omnipresent with all its shades and nuances in the original compositions. Malinconico’s music lives and breathes that cosmopolitism that only real travellers have. One can comprehend that the Neopolitian has been influenced and impressed by South American folklore, especially by the rich world of Argentinean music. Even though, the composer and arranger thinks and intensifies his impressions, he creates poetic everyday stories in the universal dialect of world music.

Their acoustic sound stays a natural one and their arrangements are especially lucid where there is always spaces for spontaneity - the momentum persists. Nothing is the same as before after the storm, but that is good, really good.
